As Cincinnati progresses towards our goal of a broad spectrum of Coalition members from faith, labor, progressive, health and other goups, we are seeing a groundswell of support. With the aid of our current Coalition members, we are able to get the word out to other organizations in our quest to lessen the squeeze on the middle class.
By having this tremendous network we are able to build a group that is as diverse as the issue itself. With over 2 million Ohioans lacking paid sick days, we believe that with the Ohio Healthy Families Act we are presenting a fair number of paid sick days for employees working in companies with 25 or more employees.
With CEO's and politicians already possessing the ability to take paid time off for themselves and their families, shouldn't hard-working middle-class employees, the backbone of our stae, have the right to earn paid sick days? Aren't our families as important as thiers? I think that they are. How about you?
