Tell Your Story

Millions of working Ohioans are forced to make a gut-wrenching choice between taking care of themselves or a loved one and losing their paycheck.

We've heard from middle-class workers across our state whose jobs have been in jeopardy when they needed to take a day off to care for their sick child.

Mothers have told us how they dropped sick kids off at daycare because they couldn't afford to forfeit a few days pay.

We need to hear from you. Help others understand why paid sick days are necessary for working Ohioans and our families.

Tell us your personal story about why you need to earn paid sick days. Voice your prior experiences on the job – good, bad, or outrageous! Ohioans for Healthy Families will not give out your name or contact information to anyone without your permission.

We will be featuring stories from real Ohioans like you throughout the campaign.

Please take a moment to complete the brief survey below and add any additional comments in the text box. Thanks for sharing your family's experience.
